As technology continues to advance rapidly it is important to maintain a working knowledge. I am passionate about technology and always eager to broaden my knowledge and understanding. Throughout my work, I strive for excellence, quality and precision.

In my career, I have worked with web development, graphic design and video production. During my experience with web development, I have created various websites such as Link House Trust and Hydrosep. I have also managed Morrisons Cellar and World Youth International with a large focus on e-commerce.

I have been involved in making graphics for various companies such as Active Ed, Morrisons Cellar and World Youth International. These include email templates, flyers, banners brochures and business cards.

My experience in video production includes, Short Films (such as Elevator and Nightfillers), Documentaries (such as Hot Cross Culture and OAP Cambodia) and Cinema advertising (such as No Hot Food).

Web Design and Development

Web design encompasses many different skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of websites. The different areas of web design include web graphic design; interface design; authoring, including standardised code and proprietary software; user experience design; and search engine optimization. Often many individuals will work in teams covering different aspects of the design process, although some designers will cover them all.

Web development is the work involved in developing a web site for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an intranet (a private network). Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, and social network services.

Graphic Design

Graphic design is the art of communication, stylising, and problem-solving through the use of graphics. Graphic designers use various methods to create and combine words, symbols, and images to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. A graphic designer may use a combination of typography, visual arts and page layout techniques to produce a final result.

Common uses of graphic design include identity (logos and branding), publications (magazines, newspapers and books), print advertisements, website graphics and elements, signs, posters, billboards, and product packaging.

HTML Emails

HTML email is the use of a basic range of HTML and CSS to provide formatting and styling capabilities in email that are not available with plain text. Most email clients support HTML and use their own rendering engine for displaying these emails. Unfortunately email clients have different predefined settings and treat HTML elements in different ways. The difficult step in designing and coding HTML emails is getting the right balance between text, images and scripting.

Responsive web design (RWD) is a web design approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience - easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from mobile phones to desktop computer monitors).

A site designed with RWD adapts the layout to the viewing environment by using fluid, proportion-based grids, flexible images, and CSS3 media queries, an extension of the @media rule.

  • The fluid grid concept calls for page element sizing to be in relative units like percentages, rather than absolute units like pixels or points.
  • Flexible images are also sized in relative units, so as to prevent them from displaying outside their containing element.
  • Media queries allow the page to use different CSS style rules based on characteristics of the device the site is being displayed on, most commonly the width of the browser.
  • Server-side components (RESS) in conjunction with client-side ones such as media queries can produce faster-loading sites for access over cellular networks and also deliver richer functionality/usability avoiding some of the pitfalls of device-side-only solutions.

Video Production

Video Production is also known as videography. It is the process of creating video by capturing moving images, and creating combinations of parts of this video in live production and post-production (video editing). The captured video is recorded on electronic media such as video tape, hard disk, or solid state storage, and sometimes only distributed electronically without being recorded.

Filmmaking involves a number of discrete stages including an initial story, idea, or commission, through scriptwriting, casting, shooting, editing, and screening the finished product before an audience that may result in a film release and exhibition. Filmmaking takes place in many places around the world in a range of economic, social, and political contexts, and using a variety of technologies and cinematic techniques. Typically, it involves a large number of people, and can take from a few months to several years to complete.
